War in Ukraine – how many soft loans were issued for entrepreneurs – UNIAN

Banks of the public sector of the economy signed 96 loan agreements in the amount of UAH 1.2 billion.

During the period of martial law in Ukraine, within the framework of the state program “Affordable loans 5-7-9%”, entrepreneurs received preferential loans for a total amount of UAH 43.45 billion.

As reported in press service Ministry of Finance, over the past week, 166 preferential loans were issued for a total of UAH 1.55 billion, including 96 loan agreements worth UAH 1.2 billion signed by public sector banks.

“During the period of martial law in Ukraine, within the framework of the program, 11,111 loan agreements were concluded for a total amount of UAH 43.45 billion, including 8,888 loan agreements for the amount of UAH 25.28 billion by public sector banks, of which: 0, UAH 67 billion – for investment purposes; UAH 4.12 billion – as anti-crisis loans; UAH 3.48 billion – as refinancing of loans received; UAH 19.65 billion – loans for agricultural producers; UAH 15.5 billion – for anti-war purposes “, the message says.

In total, since the start of the program, as of August 1, business entities received 45,933 loans from authorized banks for a total of UAH 133.07 billion, of which 29,364 from banks in the public sector of the economy for a total of UAH 51.93 billion.

As UNIAN reported, on March 18, the government decided to launch an interest-free business loans during the war. During martial law and another month after its completion, the rate on loans will be 0%. Interest for those who want to do business will be paid by the state. After martial law, the interest rate under this program will not exceed 5%.
