Ukrposhta stops work in uncontrolled territories

Starting August 1, for the first time since the beginning full scale invasion Russia to Ukraine On February 24, Ukrposhta completely stops working in the occupied territories – said the head of the company Igor Smelyansky.

“Until yesterday, despite all the obstacles and thanks to the heroic work of our employees, in particular in the Zaporozhye region, and before that in Kherson, we paid hundreds of thousands of pensions, accepted and transferred payments for utilities, and also delivered food,” Smelyansky noted.

But, according to the head of Ukrposhta, the company cannot continue to work in this way. The reason was the threat to the lives of workers, as well as the threat of robbery by Russian infidels and their benefits of collaborators of the so-called “LPR” and “DPR”. Also, one of the reasons was the actions of the Russians in connection with the preparations for pseudo-referendums.

They prevent us from delivering pensions because they need to collect passport numbers from pensioners for “referendums” in exchange for pensions in “wooden currency” by their usual blackmail. They don’t know any other way.” explained the actions of the company Smelyansky.

The head of Ukrposhta also thanked the employees and noted that the company had fulfilled all obligations to the team. Separately, he addressed the traitors.

“Are there traitors? Undoubtedly. But I want to say to those who honestly did their job to the end, and to those who went (or thinks to go) to the side of evil, with the words of the Terminator: we’ll be back! Smelyansky emphasized.

The head of Ukrposhta promised to return, as the company returned to Kyiv, Chernihiv and Sumy regionsgiving an example of a recently opened new branch in the center of Trostyanets.
