For the first month without benefits, receipts to the Budget of Ukraine from customs clearance of a car amounted to UAH 1.72 billion, according to the MP from the “Voice” faction Yaroslav Zheleznyak.
According to him, the results of the import of cars for July are as follows:
- imported 13584 cars;
- budget revenues: UAH 1.72 billion;
- import duty – UAH 384 million;
- excise tax – UAH 263 million;
- VAT – UAH 1,079 million;
According to the people’s deputy, the revenues exceed about 2 times the entire pension fee that was paid for the entire period of benefits for the import of cars for three months.
“For understanding, customs clearance of cars amounted to 7.3% of all customs payments in July. This is the second entry. Only oil products brought more (10.8%) or UAH 2.47 billion,” – summarized Zheleznyak.
Recall that the Verkhovna Rada registered a draft law No. 7466-2, which provides for an increase in the cost of customs clearance of cars up to 8 times. At present, the document submitted by the Servants of the People, headed by People’s Deputy Maryan Zablotsky, is being considered by the relevant committee.
