The World Boxing Organization (WBA) obligated the Ukrainian WBA flyweight champion Artem Dalakyan to defend his title again.

The Ukrainian should fight against the undefeated Costa Rican David Jimenez.

How informs Dan Rafael, the boxers must agree on the fight by August 31st. Otherwise, boxing auctions will be scheduled.

The 34-year-old Dalakyan won the WBA championship belt in a fight with former two-division champion Brian Viloria, winning by unanimous decision. Since then, the Ukrainian has made five successful title defenses.

Artem’s last fight took place on November 20 last year. Dalakyan knocked out in the ninth round of the former world champion WBA super flyweight champion Luis ConcepciĆ³n.

Jimenez, 30, won the vacant WBC Latino and WBA Gold titles in 2021, and on July 16 of this year he defeated American Ricardo Sandoval in a duel for the status of a mandatory contender for the WBA belt.

Artem Dalakyan had 21 fights in the pro ring and won all of them. On account of David Jimenez 12 wins in 12 fights, nine of which he won by knockout.
