On Monday, August 1, an important conversation between Ukraine and the United States took place in a new format. This was announced on Twitter by the head of the Ukrainian diplomatic department Dmitry Kuleba.
According to him, the head of the Office of the President Andriy Yermak, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhny and Foreign Minister Kuleba held telephone conversations with US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken, US Presidential Adviser Jacob Sullivan and Chief of the Chiefs of Staff Committee General Mark Milley During the conversation, the Ukrainian side thanked for the assistance already provided and discussed the needs of the Ukrainian army.

According to the Office of the President of Ukraine, Andriy Yermak, Dmytro Kuleba and Valery Zaluzhny noted the significant contribution of the United States to strengthening the defense capability of Ukraine. We also agreed on the need to organize a conversation between President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky and US President Joseph Biden in the near future.
