Tokayev publicly humiliated Putin – all the details of a high-profile scandal

The refusal to recognize the quasi-republics created by Russia is not the only blow from Tokayev to Putin.

A public slap in the face to the Kremlin aggressor – that’s what the whole world is discussing following the results of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum. The only foreign guest who attended the event live – Kazakh President Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev – did not dance to Putin’s tune and expressed his position to his face.

This is stated in the plot of the FreeDom project. “We do not recognize either Taiwan, or Kosovo, or South Ossetia, or Abkhazia. And, most likely, this principle will be applied to Luhansk and Donetsk,” the journalists remind Tokayev’s words.

Tokayev was asked a question about the so-called “special operation” by Russian propagandist Margarita Simonyan. But it was not possible to drive the president of Kazakhstan into a corner.

The refusal to recognize the quasi-republics created by Russia is not the only blow from Tokayev to Putin. He also said that there is no import substitution policy, it’s all nonsense and myths, the journalists say. The President of Kazakhstan also noted that the country has another “big brother” for trade – China.

In response to Tokayev’s statements, the head of Chechnya and a loyal servant of Putin, Ramzan Kadyrov, snapped. The President of Kazakhstan did not remain silent and answered him: “The Russian Federation declares that Russia saved Kazakhstan. And now Kazakhstan must serve forever and bow at the feet of Russia.”

But everything did not end with statements: the shipment of Kazakh export oil was blocked in the port of Novorossiysk. In response, Kazakhstan blocked 1,700 wagons with Russian coal on its territory.

Political strategist Boris Tizengauzen declares that this whole story will not end with the blocking of oil. But behind Kazakhstan is the main partner – China. Therefore, experts are sure that if a military conflict starts in Kazakhstan over Russia, it will destabilize the whole of Central Asia.
