“These days in our information space and in social networks there are a lot of messages about conflict situations and threats that exist in other geography. First – the Balkans, then – Taiwan, now maybe the Caucasus … All these situations seem different, although they are united by one factor, namely: the global security architecture did not work. If it had worked, there would not have been all the conflict,” the president said.

He noted that Ukraine has been paying attention to this for years – ever since Russia completely ignored international law.

Zelensky stressed that after the occupation of Crimea, Donbass and the defeat of the Malaysian Boeing, Russia did not bear responsibility, retained political and business ties with the world. “Many people in global relations believe that he will also succeed,” Zelensky said.

He noted that there must be an effective global security architecture that will ensure that no country will resort to terror against another country.

This is exactly what Ukraine and its partners are working on, according to Zelensky.
