The Security Service of Ukraine liquidated a million-strong bot farm that “shattered the situation in Ukraine on the order of one of the political forces” and was working to discredit the country’s leadership. About it reported in the press service of the SBU.

The attackers allegedly spread misinformation on the Internet, in particular, about the activities of the top military-political leadership of Ukraine. The SBU noted that the Russian special services also used the bot farm to spread fakes about the situation at the front.

Among the latest “operations” of the bot farm is the spread of rumors about an alleged conflict between the Office of the President and the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhnyas well as a company to discredit the first lady Elena Zelenskaya.

Officially, the SBU did not name who owns the bot farm, but unofficially, they reported LIGA.netthat we are talking about the European Solidarity party of the ex-president Petro Poroshenko.

People’s Deputy from the EU Vladimir Ariev refuted information about the presence of a bot farm in the party and stated that it never existed.

“This is a false stuffing aimed at discrediting the patriotic political force,” the politician wrote.

Also information that the bot farm belonged to the EU refuted co-chairman of the political force faction in parliament Irina Gerashchenkostating that such publications are regarded “as bad faith and the fulfillment of the political order of the authorities.”
