According to him, the invaders are moving a large number of troops to the south through the recently occupied territories and Crimea.

“They are increasing the number of their troops, preparing for our counter-offensive in the south and, possibly, preparing to launch their own offensive. The south is key for them, primarily because of the Crimea,” said the representative of the GUR.

He noted that Russia is trying to strengthen its position in the temporarily occupied territories of the south, but added that Russia “strategically has no chance of winning this war.”

Skibitsky said that two weeks ago, the Russians withdrew tactical groups of paratroopers from the Donbass and transferred them to Kherson. The enemy is also transferring troops from the Eastern Military District, which were used for the attack on Slavyansk and were in reserve on the territory of the Belgorod Region.
