“Guided by the historical desire of the people of the Republic of South Ossetia to reunite with Russia and in accordance with paragraph 16 of Article 50 of the Constitution of the Republic of South Ossetia, President Anatoly Bibilov today signed a Decree on calling a referendum of the Republic of South Ossetia,” the President’s website says.
The referendum will be held on the question “Do you support the unification of the Republic of South Ossetia and Russia?”.
