The Swiss Federal Customs Administration reported that the first batch of Russian gold since February 24 arrived in Switzerland in May. This information was regarded as a softening of the position towards the Russian Federation.

At the same time, the London Bullion Market Association stopped all gold sales from Russia. As a result, imports have stopped.
