The State Service for Special Communications and Information Protection of Ukraine warns of new cyber attackswhen attackers send files with the topics of taxes and nuclear terrorism.

This was reported by the press service of the State Special Communications Service in Telegram-channel.

The press service warns that the attackers are distributing emails allegedly on behalf of the State Tax Service of Ukraine with the subject line “Notification of non-payment of tax.”

They contain the archive “Imposition of Penalties. zip” with the document of the same name. Opening it will eventually lead to the download of malware.

“Another cyberattack was carried out by spreading a malicious document called “Nuclear Terrorism A Very Real Threat.rtf”, the opening of which leads to the download and execution of a malicious program,” the report says.
