On June 22, Ukraine celebrates the Day of Sorrow and Commemoration of the Memory of the Victims of the German-Soviet War, which took the life of every fifth Ukrainian.

Today, June 22, is another sacred date for the Russian Federation: on this day, World War II began in 1941 on the territory of the former USSR. However, do not be afraid of any special threats from Russia in Ukraine.

This was stated by Advisor to the Minister of Internal Affairs Vadim Denisenko on the air of the telethon.

Denisenko noted that on that day the occupiers would do the same as before: the Russian military shelled Ukraine every day, killed and injured civilians, and destroyed infrastructure.

But, according to him, in some regions of Ukraine, the activation of enemy DRGs is possible. The law enforcement agencies understand this risk and continue to work in an enhanced mode.

It should be noted that every year on June 22, Ukraine celebrates the Day of Sorrow and Commemoration of the Memory of the Victims of the German-Soviet War, which claimed the lives of every fifth Ukrainian. Center for Counteracting Disinformation under the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine warned of possible provocations occupiers during the events on the occasion of the Day of Remembrance for the Victims of the War.

The day before, Aleksey Arestovich, adviser to the head of the President’s Office, warned about the threat of Russian missile strikes on Kyiv soon.
