Ukrainian military stopped the offensive of the Russian invaders in the direction of the southern outskirts of Lisichansk, Luhansk region – inflicted losses on the enemy and forced them to retreat.

“In order to resume the offensive, the occupiers are putting forward reserves. The enemy’s offensive actions near Borovskoye were also stopped by the Ukrainian defenders. The enemy carried out reconnaissance in force in the area of ​​the settlement of Belaya Gora. He continued the offensive in the area of ​​the settlement of Ray-Aleksandrovka, fighting continues,” the General Staff noted.

According to him, fighting continues for control over Severodonetsk.

“Units from the 2nd Army Corps, with the support of the National Guard detachments, are conducting assault operations in order to establish full control over Severodonetsk …”, the message emphasizes.
