Every year on June 22, Ukraine celebrates the Day of Sorrow and Commemoration of the memory of the victims of the German-Soviet war, which claimed the lives of every fifth Ukrainian.
The Center for Counteracting Disinformation under the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine warns of possible provocations occupiers during the events on the occasion of the Day of Remembrance for the Victims of the War.

“Every year on June 22, Ukraine celebrates the Day of Sorrow and Commemoration of the Victims of the German-Soviet War, which claimed the lives of every fifth Ukrainian. It is on this day that dozens of events traditionally take place in different regions of Ukraine with the aim of nationwide commemoration of the memory of the sons and daughters of the Ukrainian people who fell in during World War II,” the statement said.
It is noted that in this regard, there is a high probability of provocations by the occupying troops of the Russian Federation with possible rocket attacks.
“We warn you: refrain from staying in crowded places. In the event of an air alert, immediately go to the nearest bomb shelter or shelter. In the premises, remember the rule of 2 walls and 2 exits,” the CPD noted.
