As a result of enemy shelling of Nikolaev, one person was killed, two were injured, two enterprises were destroyed and several houses were damaged.
This was announced by the mayor of Nikolaev Alexander Senkevich during the information telethon.
“Currently, there is information about the injured two private enterprises, on the territory of which there were fuels and lubricants. One school was damaged: windows were broken, the roof was damaged, and five high-rise buildings … entrance doors and windows were broken in them,” he said.
Also, according to Senkevich, windows, doors and roofs were torn off in four more private houses.
In addition, as a result of a rocket hitting one of the enterprises, materials ignited, because of which almost the entire city was enveloped in black smoke.
“Firefighters are working, but in fact everything must burn out there, because it is impossible to extinguish it,” the mayor said.
Information about the dead and injured is being specified, Senkevich said.
