Russia continued to attempt tactical offensives against the Bakhmut Axis, northeast of Donetsk, with only slow progress.
According to British intelligence, the Russian Federation has clearly decided to adjust its plans for an offensive operation in the Donbass, having felt the need to strengthen the grouping in the south.
This is stated in the information of the British Ministry of Defense.
Over the past four days, Russia has continued to attempt tactical offensives against the Bakhmut Axis, northeast of Donetsk, with only slow progress.
“As Ukrainian authorities reported last week, Russia is likely to redeploy a significant number of its forces from the northern sector of Donbass to southern Ukraine. Russia is likely adjusting the operational plan for its offensive in Donbass after failing to make a decisive operational breakthrough according to the plan, which she has adhered to since April. Now, it seems that the front in Zaporozhye has been identified as a vulnerable area that needs to be strengthened,” the message says.
As UNIAN previously reported, on the approaches to Zaporozhye built massive lines of defense. Hundreds of kilometers of trenches have already been dug, and this number continues to grow.
APU can fully liberate the Zaporozhye region from Russian invaders until the end of 2022. The reference points are September 1 and the beginning of the heating season. It is important to expel the invaders as soon as possible, to solve the issue of organizing the educational process of children and providing the population with heat.
