Pensioners who have received the status of a missing person will not receive pensions

The payment of the pension is resumed after the personal application of such a person to the bodies of the Pension Fund.

Pensionerswho has been identified as a missing person, the payment of a pension is terminated.

This is stated in message Pension Fund of Ukraine.

Thus, pensioners who have received the status of a missing person will not be able to receive a pension. However, a person can resume payments if he personally applies to the PFC.

“A person acquires the status of a missing person under special circumstances, from the moment the information contained in the statement of the fact of disappearance is entered into the Unified Register of Persons Missing in Special Circumstances, in the manner prescribed by law, and is considered missing under special circumstances from the moment the applicant submits a statement about the fact of the disappearance of a person. After establishing the status of a person missing under special circumstances for a pensioner, the payment of a pension is suspended. The payment of a pension is resumed after a personal appeal of such a person to the bodies of the Pension Fund of Ukraine,” the report says.
