During the week, almost 20 thousand checks were carried out as part of preventive measures to identify DRGs.
In Nikolaev spouses who were handing over the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to the enemy were detained.
This was announced by First Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Yevgeny Enin on air informational telethon.
He noted that in Nikolaev the spouses who collaborated with the Russian military were recently exposed. According to him, this pair provided the enemy with information about the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, so that later “the Russians could accurately shoot their damned missiles.”
Enin said that almost 20,000 checks were carried out across the country in just a week as part of preventive measures to identify DRGs.
“Among them, hundreds of people have aroused suspicion of possible work for the enemy, and such people are immediately handed over to the SBU units for further escort,” he added.
Enin noted that more than 20 people who may be involved in working with the enemy have been detained over the past week, of which, in particular, in Kyiv, “about 10 suspected saboteurs were detained.”
“Most often we detain such scoundrels at checkpoints or during patrols. And in third place is informing our citizens,” said the First Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.
Earlier, the head of the Lugansk regional military administration, Sergei Gaidai, called the number of traitors in Lisichanskwho “leaked” information about the Armed Forces of Ukraine to the Russians.
