According to him, according to the terms of the current contract with Gazprom, the parties have 45 days to independently resolve disputes, and only after this period can they apply to arbitration.
“Next month, this period expires, and unless a miracle happens – that is, Gazprom changes its position, then this will mean that next month we will have the right to apply to international arbitration,” he said.
Vitrenko added that Naftogaz will use all the possibilities that the company has under this contract, including filing a lawsuit in arbitration.
“Indeed, Gazprom is now underpaying for transit, for the booked volumes that are available to it,” the head of the company explained.
