Mobilization in Russia – ISW announced the amount of payments to the Bashkirs for participation in the war against Ukraine

The subjects of the Russian Federation, apparently, will change the conditions for conscripts to receive lump-sum payments. In particular, in Bashkortostan, funds will be frozen up to 90 days after the signing of the contact. About it says in a report from the Institute for the Study of War.

Emphasizing the double standards of the Kremlin, former adviser to the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Anton Gerashchenko pointed outthat the Kremlin pays the families of the dead Muscovites three times more than the families of soldiers from the type of Buryatia or the aforementioned Bashkortostan.

“Earlier it was reported that 40 servicemen of the Chuvash Atal volunteer battalion complained that they did not receive the promised draft allowances and payments after graduation. Federal entities appear to be starting to adjust their payment schedules,” the Institute said in a statement, adding that occupiers that the Armed Forces of Ukraine are successfully coping with, will receive daily payments of 2,000 rubles (approximately $32).

Newer battalions, such as the two Saratov Oblast units, have announced that recruits will receive a draft allowance of 150,000 rubles (about $2,400) after three months of service.

“Probably, the subjects of the federation are trying to prevent Russian recruits from receiving draft fees and deserting before being sent to Ukraine. However, federal subjects may also be unable to obtain funds to immediately pay recruits, ”the ISW suggests.

At the same time, the Saratov local publication “Versions of Saratov” reportedthat the city administration of Saratov announced the recruitment of two unnamed “volunteer” battalions on the basis of “orders Ministry of Defense of Russia”.
