Russian showman and TV presenter Maxim Galkin excluded from the list of persons who pose a threat to the national security of Ukraine.

This is evidenced by the data on site Ministry of Culture and Information Policy.

It is known that Galkin was added to the list at the request of the SBU in November 2021. The grounds are “sufficient data about his activities to the detriment of Ukraine, in particular, aimed at provoking separatist sentiments, creating conditions for violating the territorial integrity of our state, supporting the temporary occupation of part of Ukraine by the aggressor country.”

At the same time, neither the Ministry of Culture nor the SBU specified why exactly Galkin was included in the “black list”. However, there was information on the network that the showman visited the Russian-occupied Crimea in June 2014 and August 2015.

It is known that after Russia’s large-scale invasion of Ukraine, Maxim Galkin, together with Alla Pugacheva and the children, left for Israel. The showman has publicly condemned the actions of the Russian Federation more than once and continues to actively support Ukraine.
