Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Russia, Ukraine has received medicines from Western partners, medical devices and medical equipment for UAH 11 billion.

“If we are talking about medicines, medical devices and medical equipment, then the estimated aid in terms of hryvnia since the beginning of the war is approximately UAH 11 billion. About 8,000 tons of medicines, medical devices and medical equipment came to Ukraine from our partners . Basically, these are the USA and EU countries,” he said.
The minister also added that today the MedEvac program continues to operate, according to which wounded Ukrainians receive free treatment in European hospitals.
“As of today, 1,033 Ukrainian patients have been sent for treatment abroad through these channels,” he said.
In addition, Lyashko added that during his visit to Poland, he tentatively agreed that Ukraine would receive investments in the amount of 150 million euros for the construction of rehabilitation clinics or the modernization of existing hospitals.
“We have potentially agreed on possible investments this year in the region of 150 million euros in the construction of rehabilitation clinics or the modernization of existing hospitals in order to place a university clinic on their basis in accordance with the best European practices,” he said.
