One of the Russian ballistic missiles fired at Kharkiv on June 20 hit a Kharkiv metro facility.

This was told by the head of the Main Police Department of the Kharkiv region Volodymyr Timoshko, reports “Suspіlne”.

“The infrastructure of the Kharkiv metro was hit. In particular, at the location of the metro trains. As a result, at least three trains serving the Kharkiv metro were damaged,” he said.

There was also one wounded as a result of the impact.

“This is an average severity, let’s hope that there will be no threat to life,” Tymoshko said.

As UNIAN reported, in the Kharkiv region over the past day, June 20, due to shelling by Russian invaders three people diedand seven were injured. During the day, the invaders shelled the Kyiv, Industrialny, Saltovsky and Nemyshlyansky districts of Kharkov. In the Saltovsky district, a transport enterprise was fired upon, a worker was wounded.
