In the US state of Kentucky devastating floods continue to rage. At least 37 people died. This is reported BBC.

Among those killed in the disaster are at least six children, four of whom are between the ages of one and eight, from the same family.

Kentucky Gov. Andy Beshear said the death toll will continue to rise as hundreds of people remain missing. More than 12 thousand households are without electricity, hundreds of private and commercial houses are flooded.

Bescher called the flood “the deadliest and most destructive of his entire life”by saying: “If it wasn’t hard enough for the people of this region, now they are getting rain.”
