Secretary General of the North Atlantic Alliance Jens Stoltenberg had a conversation with the President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky.
The NATO Secretary General discussed with the President of Ukraine issues of military support and expansion of assistance from the allies.
One of the discussed issues was the export of grain from Ukraine. Given that the first batch of grain on August 1 has already departed from the port “Odessa”, Stoltenberg noted the importance of full implementation of the agreements reached by the parties in Turkey.

“We talked about the priorities of military support. It is imperative that NATO and allies provide even more assistance to Ukraine and do it even faster. They also discussed the first shipment of grain after the Russian invasion and the need for the full implementation of the agreement under the auspices of the UN in Turkey,” clarified he.
Recall, according to Vladimir Zelensky, further export of grain from Ukraine is the responsibility of the UN and Turkey.
