Ex-Deputy Head of Dneproga Arrested on Suspicion of Trade in Military Humanitarian
The National Police and the Office of the Prosecutor General reported the detention and arrest of the former Deputy Chairman of the Dnepropetrovsk Regional State Administration. The man, whose name has not been released, was detained “hot” during an illegal attempt to sell 40 units of military ammunition worth more than 600,000 hryvnias.

“He sold bulletproof vests and other personal protective equipment that came from European partners free of charge and were intended for the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine,” declared at the Attorney General’s Office.
He sold bulletproof vests of 4-5 classes for $680, helmets for $200, clarifies police.

He was informed of suspicion under Part 3 of Art. 201-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (humanitarian aid trade), the court sent the man under arrest.
