The dollar against the hryvnia will soon fall in price and will cost around UAH 36.6. This was stated by Deputy Chairman of the NBU Council Vasily Furman in a comment UA reporter.

According to him, the strengthening of the hryvnia should be expected in the coming days or weeks.

“The NBU does not give forecasts on the hryvnia exchange rate. That was before the war, and even more so now. I can only be sent to the forecasts of many experts who do not work for the NBU. They say that this rate is speculative and the hryvnia will strengthen in the coming days or weeks. It will approximately fluctuate around the official exchange rate, that is, 36.6 hryvnias per dollar,” he said.

Recall that last week the dollar tried to gain a foothold at the level of 40 hryvniab.

Some experts are sure that hryvnia exchange rate positive may affect the improvement of the situation with the export of Ukrainian goods, as well as financial support from the West.
