Car traffic resumed in Lviv region at one of the border points

This will relieve congestion at other border crossings where vehicle congestion may have occurred.

Car traffic has been restored in the Lviv region since today border checkpoint “Krakowets-Korchova”.

About this during the All-Ukrainian telethon said the speaker of the State Border Service Andriy Demchenko.

“From today, from eight o’clock in the morning, it is possible for passenger vehicles to cross the border in this direction to leave Ukraine,” he said.

According to him, this will allow unloading other directions of border crossing, where congestion of vehicles could occur.

“Even before the opening, there were citizens willing to cross the border,” Demchenko added.

As UNIAN reported, since June 19 temporarily banned the passage of passenger buses through the checkpoint “Krakowets-Korchova” to leave Ukraine for Poland.

Carriers were urged to choose other checkpoints Grushev-Budomez, Shegini-Medica or Rava-Russkaya-Hrebenne to cross the border.
