A large-scale fire in the Dnipropetrovsk region was extinguished for more than two hours, the State Emergency Service noted.
The massive fire was caused by enemy shelling of the Krivoy Rog region from multiple launch rocket systems.
It is reported in Facebook Main Directorate of the State Emergency Service in the Dnipropetrovsk region.
“It hit the Shirokovskaya community. There was a large-scale fire in an open area. Due to the shelling, grass and reeds caught fire. The flames covered 3.5 hectares of the territory. There was a threat of ignition of residential buildings. Rescuers managed to localize the fire,” the message says.
The report notes that the extinguishing of the fire has been going on for more than 2 hours.
Recall that the Russian troops early in the morning of February 24 invaded Ukraine. Enemies first fired at military facilities, and then civilians, in particular, in the Dnipropetrovsk region, there were victims and injured.
On June 15, it became known that invaders from “Hurricane” shelled Zelenodolsk and Apostolovo.
