“We can say that in the Kherson direction we continue fire control over the occupied territory, in particular, over logistics and transport arteries,” Gumenyuk said.
According to her, the Ukrainian military destroyed an echelon of equipment of the invaders and manpower, which they tried to bring up to provide for their army, and also continue to “perfectly” destroy enemy ammunition depots in the Kherson direction.
At the same time, Gumenyuk noted that the invaders continue to transfer equipment, use pontoons and ferry crossings as an alternative to the bridges damaged by the Armed Forces of Ukraine, but so far these are only their attempts.
The occupiers managed to reorganize only the technical means and manpower available in the reach zone in the Kherson direction, Gumenyuk said.
At the same time, Gumenyuk notes that the invaders are reformatting their forces and focusing, including on the Krivoy Rog direction. In particular, in this direction, the Russian army is intensifying shelling in order to increase the psychological pressure on this region.
“The situation continues to be complex and dynamic, but the defense forces are in control,” Humenyuk added.
According to her, this is an attempt by the invaders to counter the counteroffensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
