The New Zealand authorities have imposed sanctions against Russian defense enterprises, shared in the Office of the President.
New Zealand has extended sanctions against Russia due to a full-scale war in Ukraine.
This was announced by the head of the Office of the President Andriy Yermak in the Telegram channel.
“Sanctions are being imposed against the Sogaz insurance company, the Russian Railways company and against defense enterprises that are engaged in the development, production and testing of military equipment for the Russian army,” he said.
Recall that Russian troops invaded Ukrainian territory without declaring war early in the morning on February 24. Opponents attacked both military and civilian facilities, there were many civilian casualties.
A number of states supported Kyiv in the fight against the invaders, in particular, New Zealand.
Mid March New Zealand authorities imposed sanctions against Russian officialsincluding President Vladimir Putin, Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu.
