ATMariupol A delegation of the Moscow Patriarchate came “with an inspection”, the collaborators were instructed to increase the number of prayers “in defense of the Russian army.”

Petr Andryushchenko, an adviser to the mayor of Mariupol, wrote about this in his Telegram channel.

“Mariupol. Religion in the service of the occupiers. Yesterday a large delegation of the Moscow Patriarchate arrived in the city with an inspection. A large cortege of priests and military guards. They were taken to the churches (which were almost not affected, it’s clear why),” he said.

In addition, Andryushchenko added, a separate non-public excursion to the drama theater took place.

Earlier it was reported that the Patriarch of the Russian Orthodox Church Kirill supported Russia’s aggression against Ukraine.
